Medicare is a government-funded health insurance program in the United States that provides coverage to eligible individuals primarily aged 65 and older, as well as certain younger individuals with disabilities. Established in 1965 under the Social Security Administration, Medicare has become a vital source of healthcare coverage for millions of Americans.

Medicare is divided into several parts, each addressing specific aspects of healthcare:

Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance)

Part A covers inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, hospice care, and some home healthcare services. Most individuals are eligible for Part A without having to pay a premium if they or their spouse have paid Medicare taxes while working.

Medicare Part B
(Medical Insurance)

Part B covers outpatient medical services, such as doctor visits, preventive care, medical tests, and durable medical equipment. Part B requires the payment of a monthly premium, and individuals have the option to enroll during specific enrollment periods.

Medicare Part C (Medicare Advantage)

Part C, also known as Medicare Advantage, offers an alternative to Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) by allowing private insurance companies to provide Medicare benefits. These plans often include additional benefits like prescription drug coverage, dental, vision, and wellness programs.

Medicare Part D
(Prescription Coverage)

Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage): Part D is a standalone prescription drug coverage plan that helps individuals with the cost of prescription medications. It is offered through private insurance companies approved by Medicare and requires payment of a monthly premium.

That's why we are committed to providing a wide range of health insurance products that are customized to meet your specific needs. Our team of experienced insurance experts is dedicated to making you our top priority and ensuring that you have access to the best possible coverage options. Our aim is to help you find an insurance plan that provides financial protection, reduces out-of-pocket expenses, and enables access to necessary medical care. Health insurance helps individuals and families afford healthcare services, preventive care, and necessary treatments, promoting overall well-being and protection against potential financial hardships resulting from medical emergencies or illnesses. We also offer Obamacare, also known as the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This comprehensive healthcare reform was implemented in March 2010 to make it easier for people to obtain health insurance at an affordable price. The ACA mandates that health insurance companies provide specific levels of coverage with every plan, ensuring that everyone has access to the healthcare they require. As a result, the ACA has expanded healthcare availability to more US citizens, prevented insurers from making unreasonable rate increases, and allowed individuals with pre-existing health conditions to have access to health insurance. Additionally, the ACA covers additional screenings, immunizations, and preventative care. As of 2021, over 13 million citizens have enrolled in coverage provided by the ACA. To qualify for the Affordable Care Act (ACA), you must reside in the U.S., be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or be lawfully present in the U.S., not be incarcerated, and not have Medicare or other health insurance plans. At Professional Brokerage Concepts, we are committed to guiding you through the complexities of health insurance and the Affordable Care Act.
